Ways to Connect with other Entrepreneurs:

  1. Be active on Twitter: As an emerging digital platform, Twitter is a great place to start with when talking about networking. Even the busiest entrepreneurs are constantly at work on Twitter! Twitter’s algorithm is to post breaking news and is full of real-time action.
  2. Join an Entrepreneurial Organization: This is your best bet at meeting and networking with individuals with the same mindset. Certain organizations are actually willing to help out starters such as Business Collective .
  3. Don’t be afraid to ask for connections: Talk! That’s the biggest take away from this! In this day and age, we are in touch with so many people that it opens up many opportunities! (Give example in class; Roland)
  4. Organize a Local-Meet Up: As great of an idea as this sounds, it doesn’t happen very often. However that has changed! With online sites like Facebook trying to bring everyone together, they show events all around you being made for individuals with the same ambition. You can even create these by yourself! Create your own page and invite others to meet at a local place!
  5. Join a co-working space: Learn to expand! Different work enviornments cause different people to interact with one another. Your job at McDonalds may have someone working there temporarily for tax brackets, or even servers who don’t want to be taxed heavily at the end of each year. A secondary job like this could also be a great place to promote your own growth!
